I don’t play video games.
I just can’t anymore. For years I’ve been the most casual gamer in gamertown. Meaning if I can’t get in and out of a game in 10 minutes, I’m over it. I don’t have time to save your princess or kill your invading aliens or gun down enemy soldiers (online tweens from the back of America).
I have to make five million lunches. Ain’t nobody got time for your game.
But I stumbled across the demo to this in the Xbox live marketplace today while looking for new things for the kids to play while I make five million lunches.
And oh my god.
This game is gorgeous. In more ways than one. The feel of all things from the visuals to the voiceover to the characters (you pick three from a time traveller, a set of creepy Victorian twins, a monk, a scientist, etc.) to the insanely fun game mechanics is really something. Something really good. Words.
Just check it out. I know it looks like just another pretty platformer.
It’s not.

I got angry about a burrito once.

I make stuff and teach stuff and I'm a single dad and I don't know what the hell is going on.

I'm also an idiot on twitter.
