GPOYCW: Gratuitous Picture of Your Cane Wednesday

I’ve always been vocal about my obsessions with, say, television shows or melodramatic British musicians so a couple of birthdays ago, a friend of mine somehow tracked down an exact replica of the cane that Hugh Laurie was [then] limping around with on House.  It was simultaneously one of the greatest and creepiest gifts I’ve ever received—and won’t be topped until I’m given one of Morrissey’s hands.

Anyway, when I got home yesterday I dug through the hall closet until I found it and will be wielding this thing until the swelling on my Achilles tendon goes away. As an added bonus, I’ll look even more unstable when my mismatched pajama pieces and I take the dog out for his pre-dawn walks.  Win/Win.
