I just found out that my computing trends class made it through the final round of savage cuts.
The state is bleeding money, and my campus is cutting a terrifying number of classes.
I was certain this would be it for that class, since it is really just a fancy elective.
We don’t offer a degree in Twumblery, so the class is just units, really. Students just take it because they want to. That’s why I love teaching it.
I also just got asked to teach a summer class for some Korean businesspeople who are coming here to learn about computing trends in education.
I am ecstatic.
Oh, and that picture has nothing to do with this.
