I’m sitting in a coffee shop. Where Find the Starlight was born and shaped for so long.

This has really become a place for me to document this side of things, and it helps me to do so. Again, I don’t keep a journal. And I doubt I will anytime soon.

But I just wrote a scene that made me tear up in a coffee shop.

I KNOW. Bro what are you talking about you are just sending stupid boxes to randos how is that in any way moving?

I’ve been trying to tell you.

This is going somewhere.

Think about whatever book or film series you want. They took a long time to make, right? And, in the case of a book series, a long time to even consume.

I remember reading The Dark Tower series by Stephen King when he was still in book 3 of 7. And he warned us it would take a long, long time. And it did. And whatever with how the series turned out, but I remember actually enjoying knowing that he had a long-term plan. He would remind his readers of that every now and then, and I ate it up. Because I trusted him. Because he is Stephen Fucking King.

I’m No Fucking Body. You have no reason to trust me.

But I’m telling you. I’ve hit something with this shovel.

And I know exactly where it is going.

And I really, really think you’re going to like it.
